Travel Wellness Hacks

Whenever I travel, health and wellness are my priority.  While I love seeking new adventures, I don’t like feeling like crap during them.  Here are some super easy travel wellness hacks you can bring with you on your next trip abroad!

Four Sigmatic Mushroom Elixir

These mushroom elixirs will help you feel your best even when you are thousands of miles away from home.  Lion’s Mane supports memory function and is perfect when you need to focus, Cordyceps gives you energy without the caffeine and can also help with adrenal fatigue, Reishi is good for relaxation and can also help with jetlag and Chaga is amazing for immunity and is loaded with antioxidants.  All of them are available in small single serving packets making them great for travel.  My favorites are Chaga and Reishi.

Lacrosse Ball

A lacrosse ball is something everybody needs especially while traveling.  This little ball costs under $5 and your body will thank you for it later!  I bring a lacrosse ball with me on every trip and it is so small you won’t even remember you are carrying it with you.  It is perfect for rolling out your feet after a long day of walking, getting the knots out of your back during a 12 hour plane ride or massaging your shoulders from carrying a backpack all day.  You can buy one at your local sporting goods store or on Amazon.

Olive Oil

Yes, I said olive oil!  What is so great about this stuff?  You can use it for virtually everything!  From face moisturizer, hair serum, makeup remover, body moisturizer, shaving cream.. The possibilities are endless!  You can also use it as cuticle oil or to soothe dry and irritated skin.  It will make you feel like you just left the spa.  And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to feel like that especially while traveling?
